That matters if one of them is ever disputed: the record is about that client and that contract, not about a batch.
Merge fields resolve once, at creation
Client name, address, city, country, contract value, start and end dates and notice period are filled in when the batch is created — not at signing time. What the signer sees is exactly what was sent, and it cannot change underneath them afterwards.

Is this a mail merge or real individual contracts?
Individual contracts. Each recipient gets their own envelope, their own private signing link and their own certificate of completion. Nothing is shared between them.
Can I bulk send a contract I did not build here?
Save it as a reusable template first and add merge fields where the client-specific details go. Once it is a template, it can be used for a batch.
What if one recipient needs different terms?
Send them separately. A batch is for a contract that is genuinely the same document with different names on it — bending it to cover exceptions is how the wrong terms end up signed.
Do bulk-sent contracts get chased automatically?
Yes, on the same 3, 4 and 7-day cadence as any other document, and each one stops independently once it is signed.
